Tony Wilkins

Tony was born and bred in Nottingham before moving up to Newcastle in order to study to be a chartered surveyor.  His first job was in Sheffield where he met his wife Fiona.

Tony’s love of pop music has resulted in him being regarded as something of an anorak but he feels that it has been useful over the years in quizzes and latterly in him settling in to presenting programmes on Lincoln City Radio.

Tony came to Lincoln as a young (er) man in 1985 but moved down south after 3 years. Fortunately he was given the opportunity to return to the city just one year later and has been delighted to have stayed here ever since. A chartered surveyor by training Tony has worked in both public and private sectors before his retirement.

Married to Fiona for 28 years they have a son Adam, who is currently studying at Nottingham University. Adam and his dad are avid supporters of Nottingham Forest and continue to depress themselves every other week.

Tony still goes to gigs as often as possible, continues to run pop quizzes and has discovered that he loves playing great music on the radio.
