Malcolm was born and bred in Lincoln attending Eastgate, Westgate & Lincoln Grammar Schools before entering a career in banking which lasted over 25 years, during this time he worked in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire in personnel, marketing and training departments before joining the management teams at various bank branches.
While working in York he spent time presenting programmes on the local hospital radio. On leaving banking and for the next 16 years he was employed as practice manager at two solicitors offices the first in Skegness and then in Lincoln.
Malcolm was involved with Round Table for many years and was Chairman of Skegness Round Table in 1988.
He is married with two daughters and lives in a village just outside Lincoln.
He was one of the first voices to be heard on Lincoln City Radio when it launched in May 2010, and now, as well as presenting programmes, he has taken on the role of Director of Programmes and Training.
Away from the radio he enjoys gardening and watching all types of sport especially cricket, rugby and football.
